Walking in God's Grace and True Contentment

Grace is God's favor, giving us blessings we haven't earned or deserve. For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). It's free, and you don't have to work for it or purchase it, but it can only be received through humility. God's grace can be defined as "God's life, power, and righteousness given to us by unmerited favor." It is through grace that God works an effective change in our lives.
1 Timothy 1:14 says, "And the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which were found in Christ Jesus." For sin will have no dominion over you since you are not under the law, but under grace (Romans 6:14). God shows us grace when He extends us love, forgiveness, and eternal life in spite of our wrongs and shortcomings.
