Sara, 34 and a mother of three, never understood her father, Paul. He had left her, her mother, and her sister after returning from the war. Years later, after Sara grew up and moved away with her husband and children, her father reunited with her mother.

Eventually, Sara and her family decide to move closer to her mother. When Sara and Paul reconnect, their reunion turns into a heated argument. That night, Sara's mother makes a wish-and the next morning, Sara and her father wake up in each other's bodies.

Meanwhile, Paul struggles to raise three kids while Sara's husband is away-potty training Emma, organizing middle child Dora, and dealing with Jenny, the eldest, and her attitude.
