Awesome

I recently began mentoring a stay at home mom with two small children and we decided we wanted to do a devotional that would not only stregthen our relationship but also help us to spend time with God each day. I thought we would do a "workbook" type devotional but God knew exactly what we needed and led me to this book. The first couple of devotions addressed some issues she had voiced concerns over and I was anxious to hear her opionion of the book. Her response? "When I talk, God speaks." Not only does it have great devotions, but there is also an "action" to do each day that keeps you focused that day.

Great Devotional

What a wonderful devotional for women. I've been reading books by Emilie Barnes for twenty years, and she writes as fresh and relevant today as she did when I read her for the first time. Barnes has the heart of a mentor and through her writing she mentors women in many different seasons of life. These devotions are short enough to read quickly, yet meaty enough to give you something to meditate on through the day. I also enjoyed the quotes she used. This devotional was relevant and meaningful and I really enjoyed it.
