We could not put the book down, it was so good. Lots of memories of San Francisco. A great love story! My husband and 15 yr old daughter both loved it. Keep up the good work, Margot. Can't wait for your next book.
Historically Accurate

I thought this book was an interesting read. Obviously the author did a lot of research on the history of California. The love story is well developed and the characters interesting. I would recommend this book.
A worthwhile read
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
This book is a worthwhile read. The author deftly weaves local history and a romantic story together, adding several surprising twists and turns to keep the reader intriqued. The characters are real; I'm sure everyone has known an Iris. This book is by a fairly new local author. Her endeavors (All is Shadow and Walk in Love) are well worth your time and support.
