I take care of the author's 3 nieces, and for a gift, they gave me Connie's book, signed by her! I love this book. I am a huge fan of impressionist-era art. And the way the poem intertwines with the art is amazing. I keep coming back to it to find my favorite artists. It is a fairly simple book, but anyone from fine art connosiours to 7 year old children who still crave picture books can find a great amount of enjoyment from "Waking Day."
