Based Upon True Events That Rocked a City! It starts in New Orleans, 1911. Italian couples are murdered in their beds, purportedly while sleeping. Someone sneaks inside and chops them to pieces with an ax. The police initially suspect mafia connections, but this is like no mafia killing they've seen before. The culprit never caught, the murders stop-until 1918 when the "Axeman" makes his bloody return. The Axeman spreads fear.
