I began writing poetry when I was 13 years old. I believe it was my first love, and the only one that never left me. Waiting in vein is a compilation of raw unfiltered feelings put into words. It is truth I have never verbalized to another soul but the paper I wrote on, truth I cannot hold on to any longer. It expresses a period of stagnancy, waiting on life to finally go the way I hoped it would, while constantly on the verge of robbing myself of breath. It is love that died and men and women that have entered and left me physically and figuratively. Enjoy my expressions of art.
