A voyeuristic look at the life of one lonely man who lives in a tiny, semi-detached council house in a fictional suburb in South Africa which becomes the fish bowl from which he observes the world when he's not working. In his search for answers he abandons religion, trying to find answers elsewhere and is surprised to discover that the rules that once trapped him are mere illusions.
