Buried Treasure or Biggest Hoax?

Another winner from Christy Barritt! Book 3 in the Carolina Moon Series is a fun read, and since I live in North Carolina myself, I found the story surrounding the "buried treasure of the pirate, Blackbeard (Edward Teach)," to be an extra treasure! I have been to The Outer Banks and to Ocracoke and have heard the theories and legends about his buried treasure, so this story about Brody and Felicity had me guessing right along with them. With lots of baggage and trust issues from their pasts, Brody and Felicity have to quickly learn to depend upon each other as the treasure hunters are on their trail. Quirky characters, hidden treasure, historical data, and pirates! What's not to love? I enjoyed "Crazy Aunt Bonny," and the mentions of characters from the previous two books in this series. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair review.
