dethroned my favorite book of 20 years

mariana zapata can write tension like no other and this book made me cry and laugh and literally fall in love with the characters. (also, the first few chapters are very different from the rest of the book, everyone who i’ve made read it has been like “what on earth am i reading” until they get past them.)
