Volkswagen reacted by creating one of its most legendary cars, the Golf, and from this was born a beautiful coup named after an African desert wind, the Scirocco. This car became legendary for its forms, created by the Italian designer Giugiaro, and its main objective was to replace the outdated sports-style Karmann Ghia.
