Since the time we were kids, we were told that voting was a civic duty. Many of us were told we had no right to complain about the government if we did not vote. While we must vote to protect the democracies in North America that have been severely damaged by corporate and lobby group money, corruption, the spreading of misinformation and conspiracy theories and many self-serving politicians that would move us to the extreme right, does voting help?
