Away from home

We all lived it, and Yvonne manages to capture both experiences in one blow. The experiences of living with the mountain, and the anxiety of being away from home living through the alarms of BB-C-NN. A must for Montserratians.....she even offers a solution for our perpetual state of being 'homesick for a memory' .

Very nostalgic, well written!

Yvonne makes you feel like you're right there with her. She has that wonderful ability to write like she's sitting having a chat with the reader. I too lived in Montserrat during that time, and having had very similar experiences, could totally relate to everything she went through. Montserrat was an amazing place to live, and I too miss it every day. This is a must read for any Montserrat lover!
