" Voice Under Glass " is a collection of poems written during the strange year that was 2020. The work is decidedly anti-topical, drawing on universal themes inspired by the poet's literary heroes, including William Blake, Khalil Gibran, Robert Frost, Sylvia Plath, Wallace Stevens, and H.D. (Hilda Doolittle). "Voice Under Glass" reflects a contemporary feel with its own style of California surrealism. Excerpt from the poem "An Argument with Myself": From the wreckage of the lexicon of the old Remember all you have forgotten was fortold I wish you well It is easier to build new cities than it is new letters You will need many for your epics Imagine them For the end of imagining Is the end of all things
