Perfect for the budding scientist

We purchased this for our 5-year old who is a little obsessive about visual reference books. He loves the detailed pictures and we provide the words. While we love all of the DK Visual Encyclopedias, we really like the scale of this one. It is more compact and, as a result, more portable. We have always been pleased with DK's ability to combine interesting and relevant images with concise explanations. Bravo! I'm sure we'll be buying more.
