Dull Reproduction?

I’m very disappointed in this book! Sold as new, but it feels like a photocopy reproduction. It’s a book about color, and the pages are flat and dull, and are more greyscale than vibrant. It’s not nearly the quality of other books I have from Joen Wolfrom. It is supposedly from C&T Publishing, but an interior note points to Lightning Source, LLC — a reprint publishing company.
