Great book for VB5 and intermediate programmers

This book contains great information for all level VB programmers. It is a good study guide for beginners while it provides enough information to help intermediate and advanced developers move to a higher level.It also helps VB5 or earlier version programmers because it indicates new features in VB6 with good explaination.This book is organized in the way that you can easily follow. It is a great book for all VB developers.

A great book for intermediate Visual Basic 6 users.

This books stated purpose in the preface is to let you know what the VB gurus know. It does that. It doesn't pretend to teach you all of the basics of VB, even though it does give a pretty good review of most topics. Instead what you get are little snapshots of secrets that would be hard to find without reading a lot of other books. I got a lot out of this book by just looking for the padlock icons (secrets) in the margins, and then reading those topics. To get the most out of this book you probably need to have VB 6 Professional or Enterprise Edition loaded. Some sections of this book are for just Enterprise Edition users. I keep a copy of this book on my desk all of the time.
