Marissa is forced to live with her estranged mother after the death of her father. As she struggles to adjust to a new town, new school and new friends, she suddenly discovers that she has the ability to correctly draw the future. Marissa must come to terms with the new talent and learn to control it. The queen bees of the school, however want to make Marissa's life terrible. Marissa quickly makes friends with Kenzie and Scott who stand by her as she gets accused of arson and RJ who turns out to have a secret ability as well. Marissa quickly discovers how to control and use her ability to help herself and those around her.
