On September 4, 2017 I was officially diagnosed with Chronic Severe Depressive Disorder and Co dependent personality disorder. It took a suicide attempt and being committed to a Behavioral Health Unit for this finally happen. At forty nine years old, I was finally given the reason for my screwed up life. This book is about me and what happens within my mind. Part autobiography, part prose, it's a journey through my diagnosis of Chronic Depression and the new path my life has taken. I didn't commit this words to paper to gain sympathy. Instead to offer hope and legitimacy to not only my struggle with mental illness but to those who live with this "invisible disease" every day.
