Virtually somewhere is a collection of landscape painting made in isolation but using the Street view function of Google Earth to collect reference material. As a post lock down project, this series began as an exorcise for Stephen Ehrmann to improve his skills as an artist, focusing on developing his control of perspective, value, and composition, and eventually evolving into a meditation on cultures and conditions around the world.
