Viola The Vampire Witch Hunter Chronicles and Cave of Lies
After waking up from a slumber spell in South Beach, Viola, a Vampire Witch, finds that the one responsibility she had successfully avoided since the 1960s has found her-being a Hunter.
Now, thrust back into her all to consuming reality, Viola doesn't have time for love. She's bent on avenging her mother's death. And, if you ask her, she'll say she's never been in love. She just doesn't remember her love from the early 1900's due to a love curse.
Viola Joseph looks like a teen and acts like a teen, but she has over a century of life experience. She was born in the late 1800s. And if you think she has her life figured out, well, think again.
She didn't agree with Tapestry, feeling that every witch should use magic as they see fit, providing they abide by the basic tenant of magic:
Use magic without personal gain.
Use magic without harming innocents.
Use magic without exposing secrets to the unmagicked.
Viola liked to add that magic always came at a cost, although Tapestry had recently outlawed any witch from uttering that line.
Some regular humans prefer to stay in the dark, thinking everything supernatural on screen and even in real life is just Hollywood adding drama and glitz for ratings. Or maybe it's an elaborate magic trick. "People will do anything these days," many regulars say as they go about their daily routines. However, other regulars know supernaturals walk among them, and some of them don't like it. Not one bit.
While some Vampire Witches have their own reality shows, many full blood witches prefer to lurk in the shadows, waiting for their queen to return...
WAVE (Witches Against Vampires Eternally) has created chaos because they've recruited some humans to join them. Now, more than ever, a Hunter must restore balance on the streets of Miami. Vampire Witches have been targeted for the healing and euphoric properties of their blood.
Can Viola stop WAVE before they grow stronger and begin a supernatural war threatening the lives of both supernaturals and regulars?
