A thinker and social activist, M.M. Chandra took to fiction writing a few years ago, with the first novel coming out in 2016. He has written books on literary theory and cultural as well as philosophical trends. His book on poet Muktibodh (written jointly with Richa Bajaj) titled Muktibodh in our time was published in 2012.
