After years of feeling trapped in a small town, community, or anywhere else for that matter, you'll be set free into the real world, and then you won't ever have to look back... if you choose not to. One of the most gratifying aspects of adulthood is the ability to choose where you want to be and what environment you wish to have surrounding you. Yes, the world can be cruel. I know, it's the hand I was dealt. People will often say bad things. It's human nature. Just remember, others are going through rough times, too. This book contains vignettes of my life from childhood in a small town to attending a large university, while developing into adulthood. This novel is about how I was raised and the people who influenced me and were a part of my life in some way, shape or form.
