The crew cons Jeb into becoming the temporary guardian of Nate, the computer nerd teenaged son of Jeanette, an ex-FBI agent who is new in town. Jeanette needs to go to Europe for a few months to assist in an Interpol investigation and Jeb has no time to research his new role and is simply thrown in the deep end.

The crew jumps in to assist, but this is a case of the blind leading the blind.

It turns out that Jeanette's vengeful ex-husband was not who he appeared to be in the past, and he now sets out to destroy the lives of his broken family.

The first bunch of triggermen who show up in Cadillac Springs soon run afoul of Nate's new makeshift family, when the next batch turn up, all bets are off. The gloves come off and the games begin.
