This is a story about an engineer who witnesses a rocket launch from her balcony on the beach. Her designs are on the rocket and she considers what she had accomplished to be able to experience this sight. As she thinks about the details, she is surrounded by the ocean. This is a picture book with a story woven through it. It takes place over the course of a day and includes an amazing sunrise, animals, surfers, boaters, lightning, cruise ships, storms, the Moon and great photos of the rocket launch. It is about hard work, our path to the stars and the amazing ocean.
