Drawing on documents that belonged to Miguel de Cervantes and a vast number of texts that mention him, both contemporary to him and subsequent, Sliwa offers a possibility to get closer than ever to the most universal of our writers.

The present work frames the circumstances and the life of Cervantes in four different sections that nevertheless make up a whole.
