Victory Out of Suffering

Many Christians wonder why they have to go through a difficult season in their lives, despite their faith in God. They expect that their faith in God should somehow, immune them from adversity or the attacks of the devil. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way.
As a believer, you are going to face challenges, trials, and persecutions. The devil will fire his best shots at you, with the intention to cripple your faith and discredit you before God. He will try to destroy everything of worth to you as he did to Job. But while he is marshaling out his best arsenals to attack and completely annihilate you, God is using the same unfavorable situations as an opportunity not only to test your faith and refine your character but to work out His purpose in your life.
Ultimately God has a purpose in every trial, and it is to refine the vessel and set the sail for a new level of glory. That was exactly what He did in the case of Job. And like Paul said in the book of Romans, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
