A Must-Read, Astonishing Story

Unforgettable story by a couple who found themselves suddenly in the hands of high-tech home invaders who knew disturbing information about their lives. One of the perpetrators drugs and kidnaps the woman for ransom, and when the husband is able to free himself and contact the police, an astonishing betrayal by those tasked with both protecting us and righting wrongs pushes the couple to the edge of endurance. Importantly it also suggests how vulnerable all of us are in this imperfect world in which institutions and individuals we blindly trust show themselves to be utterly corrupt. More than anything this is a story of grace, courage, perseverance and love as it also reveals unlikely heroes who are willing to sacrifice for truth and justice can find help and emerge from the darkest imaginable experiences triumphant.
