Programming has changed forever.

Vibe coding is faster overall than traditional programming methods, and it's only getting faster and more effective every day.

This won't put all programmers out of work, any more than compilers did. It just changes the focus to a higher level of abstraction. A programmer + AI is a full stack engineer indeed, and one that can do in a week what even a good programmer would take a week to accomplish.

Programmers who do not know how to use AI will be out of work, and within a few years, or sooner. The productivity boost of well-used AI assistance in coding is simply too great for the old ways to hang on for long in a quick-changing world.
