entertaining. pretty much what I expected.

This book was entertaining, I thought. yes, the author does do some flashbacks, etc, but it is fun. The book quality itself was that it was an older book, but if you are an avid book reader, you know that sometimes you enjoy a musty book...gives it that real feeling that today's technology lacks. I didn't expect this to be a life-changing tome, just a good behind-the-scenes take on Chris Timothy's experience of "All Creatures Great and Small", and it was. It also included events leading up to that. The book stops after the first series ended, just before the 2nd series began. He does allude to his experience with Carol Drinkwater with great respect and taste, and I think dispels the rumours of scandal. Blessedly so for this fan of both actors. Very enjoyable.
