Fun! And a great learning tool.

This is a wonderful book that allows kids to both giggle and learn at the same time. Not only do you make up some very interesting looking animals with this book, but it creates new names for them (a "rhinator" has the head of a rhino, a body of a manatee and a tail or an alligator!).As a teacher, I have used this with my students in a creative writing lesson about animal adaptations.
