Versology - From Inches to Infinity
Versology is not merely a collection of poems.
It is a way of seeing.
Calling himself an Interrobanger, avalok resists neat full stops.
Life does not conclude politely - it questions and exclaims at once.
This book lives inside that punctuation.
Structured around six elemental movements, Versology unfolds as a seeker's diary:
Pr̥thvi (Earth) - Mountains, shepherds, solo rides, terrace sunsets - grounded realities and human humility.
Kalā Kāla (Art & Time) - The artist's tools, the palette knife, creation as wound, imagination resisting erosion.
Agni (Fire) - Patriotism and prejudice, riots and wedding drums, the heat of ideology and the cost of silence.
Kāma (Desire) - Longing, arranged destinies, pale blue inheritances, intimacy and fracture.
Āpas (Water) - Memory and nostalgia: The Crying Bench, fathers who were Gudak Sitaram, childhood shops that were Manipedia, grief that flows quietly but never dries.
Akāśa (Sky) - Masks, the Unguru's silence, unfinished art, the horizon where river becomes ocean.
Through these elements runs what avalok calls superstringing - the unseen vibration that connects the intimate to the infinite, the personal to the political, the fleeting to the eternal.
Written as a compassionate witness, Versology does not look away - not from violence, not from tenderness, not from loss.
These poems observe, question, disturb, and remember.
avalok stretches canvas inches to infinity
turns memory into mirror.
plants small grenades inside quiet lines.
Life is an interrobang. ‽
