A delight...

"Vera's Turn For Love" is a heartwarming quick read about a sweet woman determined to follow God's will for her life. She never thought that included falling in love with a bad-boy! But when this bad-boy turns toward the God she so passionately follows, Vera's dreams just might come true after all... The characters in this sweet novel are realistic and witty. I enjoyed the old fashioned language and dialogue, feeling as if I were sitting on the porch with Vera or in the drawing room with Byron in the early 1900's. I especially enjoyed how Tamela handled delicate, controversial topics in the church with such ease, such as confronting temptation vs. avoiding it, and forgiving as God forgave us, rather than simply being judgmental. All the characters in this charming novel served a purpose and represented various opinions still lingering in the church today. From 1903 to 2008, some things never change! I believe you'll enjoy this tale as much as I did. Buy this novel today! And take a journey with Tamela, Vera & Byron.
