Wonderful pictures; assumes little prior knowledge

This book has inspiring full-page pictures of the recipes (very important, especially for the less-experienced). The recipes that I have tried have been to my family's taste, nice flavor combination without being too fussy (as is sometimes the case when vegetarian cookbooks try to imitate the flavor-intensity of meats). To that end, all of the directions for each preparation fit on one page. There are introductions which describe cooking methods and ingredients; good for the novice.
