VAPSA and Ghanjeevamrit in Natural Farming

This monograph presents a detailed field investigation into natural farming practices for summer black gram (var. GAU 4), conducted at the College Farm, College of Natural Farming, Gujarat Natural Farming Science University, Halol, Gujarat, during the 2024-25 summer season. The study systematically examines the influence of three VAPSA regimes - Flatbed, Raised Bed, and Alternate Furrow methods - in combination with varying doses of Ghanjeevamrit (250, 500, and 750 kg/ha), on crop growth, yield attributes, nutrient dynamics, soil microbial activity and economic viability.Adopting a Split Plot Design, the research offers a rigorous, data-driven evaluation of how soil-moisture management techniques and organic bio-input dosages jointly shape productivity and soil health under natural farming conditions.
