The Power of the Child's Mind

As mother of a son and daughter, ten and six, I have to say that both were enthralled by this beautiful story, so rich in depth. The art work complements the dreamy tale of Vanessa as she embarks from her earthly bed on a magical journey to mysterious lands with her guardian angel.Vanessa uses the powers of her own mind to explore in greater depths the enchanting places her angel has whisked her to and is encouraged to use her powers positively to enhance what she has been exposed to by her angel.What could be more alluring for children and adults alike than the mystical gardens lush with flowers, music and carousels.Vanessa is transported to these wonderlands in boats with toys floating by accompanied by her humanlike pets. The wonder of this book is that all ages feel at one with the world and that we are not alone yet have some control over our destiny.

enchanting story with beautiful art

This is one of the loveliest children's books I have ever seen. It comes at an especially good time in our country's history. This enchanting story will give children a peaceful outlook while it delights the eye. Parents will enjoy it too since the visuals are worthy of an art museum. I am reminded of Chagall. I am recommending it to all my friends and have found it well received as a gift for baby showers and birthday celebrations.
