Vampire Dolls The Legend of Adocinda

Sarah fixed her attention solely on her prize. There were no other sounds, no other sensations able to penetrate her thoughts. Within striking distance she stilled her breath. From where she was, she could see the rhythmic pulsing in the vein running up the side of David's exposed neck.Slowly, ever so slowly, she reached up and placed her small porcelain hand over the gently pulsing artery. Sarah closed her eyes and pictured the blood coursing through it. Unable to restrain herself any longer, she eased over and gently blew a wisp of her breath towards his nostrils.Moaning as a frown crept across his sleeping face, Sarah paused and held herself steady when David attempted to shift his body into another position. Unsuccessful, his forehead creased as the look of discontent grew in intensity. His dreams were changing, evolving into something disturbing, something horrifying. Again he tried to raise his arms.Sarah could tell he was fighting to come out of his dream world. He was trying to escape the demons that were pursuing him through the labyrinths of his unconscious thoughts. She again exhaled near his nostrils, forcing him to breathe in her intoxicating scent. Sarah watched as the long hairs covering his upper lip, swayed under the influence of her gentle breath. She could sense his spirit was strong, and it was trying to warn him of the real danger facing him. David ran blindly toward the edge of an abyss, his attempt to stop before he fell was unsuccessful. He struggled against the sudden sensation of a rapid descent, which finally pulled him out of the depths of his slumber. Dazed and still half submerged in a thick fog, David opened his eyes.To his mind, it seemed to be an eternity that he lay staring into the glassy eyes of a porcelain doll perched upon his chest. In reality, it was only seconds after he woke, before Sarah sank her fangs into his neck.I must still be dreaming! David fought to wake up from this nightmare. Confused, David shut his eyes against the horrors unfolding before him. Dolls are not able to move on their own. This has to be a nightmare, perhaps caused by pricking my finger on Abby's new doll.
