Great selection of stories

Stories about John ("Silver John" / "John the Balladeer", Lee Cobbett, Judge Persuivant, John Thunstone, and more. If you're a fan of "Who Fears the Devil" (and if you've read it, you are!), but you're not familiar with some of Wellman's other characters, this is a must read! The stories are grouped by character and (within character) are in chronological order ... good editing by Karl Wagner. If you've never read anything by Wellman, this can be a fine first introduction to his wonderful work.
