VALENTINA & The TOOTH

Big brothers pulling tricks on little brothers is an old story, but I have a new brother story that is true and different.
Jim, my little brother was three, I was ten. We were living in El Centro, California. I just had an impacted wisdom molar tooth pulled. Like a typical ten-year old I saved the molar to show my schoolmates. At that time Jim had a lose tooth which was strange for a three-year-old. Most kids don't start shedding teeth until six, but it's three-year-old Jim's lose tooth that makes this story. I told Jim I could pull his tooth and it would not hurt. Like a good little brother, he believed everything his big brother said. So being the trickster big brother I tied my huge molar on a string and held it in Jims's mouth. When I pulled the string, the molar flew out making a popping noise. My little brother's blue eyes lit up. He grabbed the string and started excitedly jabbering. Jim ran up to our dog, Blackie, and hung the tooth in front of him. He told Blackie something then ran up to Oscar the cat and did the same thing.

From this point on my three-year-old granddaughter Valentina takes over.
The story changes from my brother Jim to Valentina & The Tooth. Valentina approves her story for 3-5-year-old readers.
Valentina wants her young readers to know " I have a hamster, puppy, kitty, chicken, squirrel and rabbit. "
She also solves the tooth problem.
