Our book, which is entitled "Vade Mecum of Descriptive Statistics", can be summarized as follows: It is a complementary pedagogical tool in the literature that aims to help anyone who wants to learn or understand descriptive statistics to do it alone, thanks to its simplistic and very practical approach. The first chapter deals with the generalities of different operational concepts used in elementary statistics such as: statistics, statistics, data, modality, variable, etc. The second chapter deals with clustering and data presentation. The grouping is done according to three approaches: by convenience, by amplitude or by class and the presentation according to two approaches: in the form of simple, two-dimensional or multidimensional tables and in the form of graphs in curve, histogram, pie chart, etc. The third chapter discusses statistical measures, including: central tendency, i.e., mean, median and mode; and dispersion, i.e., standard deviation and variance. Finally, the last chapter examines the basic concepts of probability calculus.
