An engaging introduction to how people use IS to solve business problems. Using MIS explains why MIS is the most important course in the business school by showing readers how businesses use information systems and technology to accomplish their goals, objectives, and competitive strategy. With a new edition now publishing each year, Using MIS, 4e, contains fresh, new, and current material to help keep you up to date.
Excellent seller. Able to accommodate my needs. I needed the book in such a short time, and the seller was able to ship it to me in time.

Our bookstore had given us the wrong ISBN number and when I realized their mistake, I ordered from this vender and had the book in time for the next class. The book is n excellent shape even though it was listed as used. You can't go wrong with this seller in my opinion. Great price and great timing.Using MIS (2nd Edition)

Adopted for Summer 2006!

Finally, a book written for MY students and ME! Kroenke has incorporated hints and tips for making this "somewhat dry" topic truly "learner centered". Our students are coming to our Information Science Classes as Digital Natives. They don't need to learn "what computers can do", they need to learn how to make appropriate use of tools available for analysis, realize the potential of technology, and people. Emphasis is put on collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving. I especially like the "Guides" on Ethics and Computer Security. Bonus--Book available as an E-Text. I have adopted this text for my OnLine WebCT section at BCCC starting in May 2006! ALS (WebCT Certified Trainer)
