Great book

great book, it's a shame that assimil is not making advanced levels for languages anymore, this one is over a quarter of a century old.

Review: Assimil's Using French

I just recently completed Assimil's first volume, "French With Ease" and I was so pleased with the method I bought the advanced level: "Using French". I've just dabbled in this book so far, but it looks excellent. Basically, it incorporates the material taught in the previous volume, but continues on with more advanced grammar, new vocabulary and idioms, and a wealth of cultural information. It's well worth the price. Enjoy.
