The study envisioned to determine the usefulness of discarded wood materials from the selected encroacher tree species. The samples of twigs, leaves and pods were collected from Omufituwekuta and Ehi-rovipuka community forest in northern Namibia. The main objective of this study is to determine the proximate composition, energy values and capture farmer's perceptions on the uses of discarded woody materials as bush-feed in northern Namibia. Data was collected during October 2016, January 2017 and June 2017. One-way Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) was formulated to determine if there is a mean difference between the four selected tree species. Questionnaire was used to capture farmer's perceptions on use bush-feeds in relation to different seasons. Tree species encompasses of Philenoptera nelsii, Baphia massaiensis, Acacia ataxacantha and Colophospermum mopane.
