Use of the intermediate abutment in implant-supported restorations

The use of intermediate materials and elements in implant-supported restorations has been questioned as to whether or not they are advantageous with regard to the deformation suffered by the implant and peri-implant tissue. It is therefore essential to work on a scientific review where, with a level of evidence 1 -2, we can clarify a proposal for a protocol or work system that guarantees the success of our restorations.
