Many obstacles to overcome on top of being the first time he'd had his heart hurt - Metri orchestrated his redemption song. First a championship and MVP season in Brazil - then back and forth seasons between Italy and Brazil before playing his final season in Italy. Unbeknownst to him preparing for his return to Brazil for another season -. Fate had other plans for Metri. Fatherhood. A lot of it. Struggling at first finding his calling after football, Metri found the therapeutic art of writing along the way. One he embraced - 3 pregnancies later Metri created a family and authored 3 books.
