This is a book to reflect on parenting, to read together as a couple, to read together as a family, a book that inspires and drives toward respectful parenting ("buenos tratos"). It's an ideal gift for those who are embarking on the parenting path.

Upstream River began forging its own room in my mind little by little, the first room with its name on the door. This book compiles writings from October 2006 to October 2023, in between, the name emerged, with some synonymous variants. "Gift (Them) Calm" was perhaps the most famous of the parenting verses that existed unpublished until today (10/19/23).

Upstream River compiles the most poetic texts that I have managed to put together, those with fewer words, those to think in threes, some without anesthesia, the stimulating ones, the ones that still make me smile, those that stay in your ear, those that lend you a hand.
