The Ultimate Percussion UP5 electronic drum kit is a major breakthrough in the development of electronic percussion.

The electronics unit has been specifically designed to provide the drummer with a variety of superior, powerful sounds with the minimum of controls and setting up. This is achieved using the PPS (Preset Parameter Selection) system, where three push buttons provide an instantly selectable set of eight kit sounds to suit various playing styles and types of music.

Development of the input circuitry has set new standards of dynamic range and response, thus allowing the drummer to retain his/her normal playing style in comfort and make the transition from acoustic to electronic drums easier than ever before.

The UP5 electronic drum kit consists of one large (Bass drum) and four small drum pads (Snare, three Toms), which are available in a choice of either white or black shells. The drum pads have been designed by professional drummers to provide stick response, head compliance and ruggedness of construction to a standard previously unavailable to the serious player, using a trademarked "Floating Head" design.
