Unverified. The story of a young doctor who goes on a hunting trip loses time and finds out she's had alien encounters in the woods.

Alice, a young doctor in New York's Southern Tier, vanishes during a solo hunting trip on her family's land and reappears hours later on the side of a mountain. barefoot, uninjured, and unable to explain how she got there.

Laura Resurreccion is a New York-based writer of Italian and Filipina heritage currently residing in the Finger Lakes region.

Her debut poem, "Control Tower 8," received the 2001 Adelphi University Excellence in Poetry Award. Since then, Laura has written extensively across online and print publications in a wide range of genres, including high-end menswear and lifestyle journalism, women's fashion retail, ghostwritten editorial work for a model-led blog, and educational content for a baby safety website, among others.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Laura wrote Ghosts Found, a chapbook of poems, essays, and short stories reflecting on grief, memory, and the loss of loved ones - including a beloved cat.

She currently lives and works alongside two black cats in the Finger Lakes.
