Was She Who You Think She Was?

Mary Magdalene has received a lot of press in the last few years. Does she deserve it? This is a wonderful study of what we do know about Mary of Magdala and her relationship with Jesus and his disciples. The first half of the book is Liz Curtis Higgs' modern-day tale of Mad Mary and serves as a basis for the Bible study to follow. You will not want to put down this story. We usually use pretty serious works for our ladies Bible Study. But we have really enjoyed the Bad Girls of the Bible series by Liz Higgs! The modern version of the Bible story is very useful in applying the lessons to our own lives. Liz employs lots of sarcasm and personal experience to get her points across. We recommend all of these books for personal or group study.

Our Sunday school class did all of this authors bad girls of the Bible books/studies and have now moved on to "Unveiling Mary Magdalene" Liz continues to engage us with her humor and bibical insites. Don't forget to watch the video that complimnets the book and workboook
