The signs of the end time are already here with us and the time for the Lord's return is at hand and closer than we thought.
The Holy Scripture captured the thoughts of some people in the world that we live in today in 2 Peter 3: 3-4 AMP] saying "First of all, know without any doubt] that mockers will come in the last days with their mocking, following after their own human desires and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming what has become of it]? For ever since the fathers fell asleep in death], all things have continued exactly] as they did from the beginning of creation."

The Holy Spirit in the same epistle of 2 Peter 3:10a admonished believers to be constantly ready for the Lord's return loudly saying that " .. the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night."

Therefore, earnestly searching for signs or clues of the Lord's return with the help of the Holy Spirit should be the priority of any believer that is hoping to reign with the Lord in eternity. This is because many times, in God's prophetic timetable, pointers to the Lord's return are prophetically wrapped in mystery which will take only the Holy Spirit to unlock.

The epistle of 2 Peter 3:14 AMP] therefore encourage believers saying "So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him at His return spotless and blameless, in peace that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him."
